Lisbon Airport Informational Guide to Humberto Delgado Airport (LIS) - Non Official

Lisbon Airport Bus

Lisbon Airport is served by several bus lines to different key locations not only in downtown, also outside the city of Lisbon.

Please note that the maximum baggage size for boarding any non-official airport bus is 50x40x20 cm. If your baggage exceeds it, you’ll have to board Lisbon Airport’s specific bus: Aerobus.

Our recommendation is to board either metro or taxi since buses in Lisbon aren’t 100% reliable and waiting times tend to be really tedious.

Buses departing from Lisbon Airport stop outside the Arrivals Hall in Terminal 1.

Note that many buses have a special place to store luggage.

Aerobus is the official bus at Lisbon Airport. This service links the airport with key points in Lisbon, which include bus and train stations.

It offers to passengers the following services: Free Wi-Fi connection, USB chargers, luggage compartment and dedicated and helpful staff ready to attend passengers.

It has a couple of lines:

Line 1: Cais do Sodré (city centre)

Daily, 08:00 am to 09:00 pm, every 20 minutes.

Trip time is about 30 minutes.

Line 2: Sete Rios Coach Terminal

Daily, 08:00 am to 07:00 pm, every hour.

Trip time is about 25 minutes.
