Lisbon Humberto Delgado Airport (LIS) is located just 7 km north of Lisbon city centre, making it one of the closest major European airports to downtown. The airport is very well connected by metro, buses, taxis, transfers and car rental services, allowing passengers to reach central Lisbon in less than 20 minutes.
For most travelers, the Metro is the best balance between price and convenience, while taxis and transfers are recommended for families, business travelers and passengers with luggage.

Metro
Lisbon Airport is directly connected to the city’s Metro network through the Red Line (Linha Vermelha). The Metro station is located at Terminal 1 arrivals level and provides fast connections to downtown Lisbon and major transport hubs.
