Lisbon Airport, also known as Humberto Delgado and Portela Airport, is the main international gateway to Portugal and the largest airport within the country.

The airport hosts over 47 airlines and far more than 212 destinations not only in Europe, also to North Africa, North and South America, especially in Brazil.

There is a plane to upgrade Lisbon Airport and expand it in the upcoming years.

Transfer between terminals

To transfer between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 Departure areas and vice versa, a free shuttle bus is at passengers’ disposal.

Lisbon Airport Terminal 2 only can be reached by the free shuttle bus from Terminal 1.

Opening hours: From 03:30 am to 01:30 am. Every 10 minutes. The trip just takes 3 minutes.

On the other hand, only Terminal 1 is connected to the Lisbon Subway.

Terminals

Lisbon Airport consist of two passenger terminals: Terminal 1, which stands for the International Terminal, and Terminal 2, the low-cost carrier terminal.

Terminal 1 – International Terminal

Lisbon Airport Terminal 1 is the International Terminal.

All arrivals in the airport are done in Terminal 1 (even the domestic and the ones managed by low-cost carriers).

Boarding gates: 7-26, 41-47.

Terminal 2 – Budget Terminal

Lisbon Airport Terminal 2 is the Budget Terminal, mainly used by low-cost carriers.

Please note that this is just a boarding terminal. Arrivals are processed at Terminal 1.

Boarding gates: 201-215.
