Lisbon Airport Terminal 1

Lisbon Airport Terminal 1 is the International Terminal.

All inbound and outbound international flights from Lisbon Airport depart and arrive to this terminal. Note that all Arrivals are processed at this terminal, even the ones operated by low-cost carriers.

It is the oldest of the airport terminals, since it used to be main building in Lisbon Airport and formed by two check-in halls and 29 boarding gates, 7 of them to non-Schengen destinations.

Many of the airlines in Lisbon Airport are hosted in Terminal 1, especially TAP Portugal. Low-cost airlines are located in Terminal 2.

Transfer between terminals

To transfer between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 Departure areas and vice versa, a free shuttle bus is at passengers’ disposal.

Opening hours: From 03:30 am to 01:30 am. Every 10 minutes. The trip just takes 3 minutes.

On the other hand, only Terminal 1 is connected to the Lisbon Subway.

Levels

Lisbon Airport Terminal 1 is split in the following levels:

Arrivals level:

Find in this level the Arrivals Hall. Available services: rental car counters, banking facilities, information desk, left luggage, baggage carousels and Apollo Conference room.

Connect from this level to the parking facilities.

Departures level

Find in this level the Departures Hall, which is divided into the public and the restricted areas as follows:

Public Area: Available services: ATMs, post office, food, drink and retail concessions, security check and obviously, check-in counters and airline ticketing desks.

Restricted Area: The restricted area is divided into the west and east sections, having the SEF Immigration counter in its center. On the connector corridor there are several food, drink and retail concessions on each section.

  • West departure gate area: Hosts boarding gates 7 to 26. Available services: airport lounges, ATMs, internet lounge, kids’ playground, transfer stations (gates 15 and 16), terminal 2 shuttle close to gates 18-2 and food, drink and retail concessions close to gates 7-13.
  • East departure gates area: Hosts boarding gates 41-47. Available services: Currency exchange, ATMs, transfers and internet lounge.

Airport Hotel

Lisbon Airport Terminal 1 counts with an Airport Hotel, the New Star Inn Lisbon, which is equipped with 173 rooms. Location: Next to Terminal 1.
